I totally agree, the added price of most “green” cars is not offset by their increased effeciencies. I say burn gas and go!

We might want to get on with the business of becoming energy independent. While we are doing the happy dance around the pumps with the lower prices OPEC is planning yet more production cuts and will not quit until they achieve their desired price per barrel.

Drill in Alaska – drill where we can and the Feds have stopped us so they can drive alternative energy because our government officials will ultimately profit by it.
