By using $16.67 dollars per thousand on the car, it gives you an idea of monthly payments for 60 months (no APR). Using $13.99 dollars per thousand gives you an idea on monthly payments for 72 months (no APR). $14.71 already incorporates the 1.9% APR in the equation.

If the price for a car is $22,000; monthly prices are at $366/month for 60 months- 0% APR and $323/month for 72 months with the 1.9% APR. Helps for budgeting and we all know the longer the loan, the higher the APR will be!

Can anyone explain this fine print provided by Nissan in explaining the details of their 0% for 60 months financing program?

Financing is subject to NMAC Tier 0 through Tier 2 credit approval. $16.67 per month per $1,000 borrowed at 0.0% for 60 months, $14.71 per month per $1,000 borrowed at 1.9% for 72 months, on all new above-noted vehicles in dealer stock.

Wouldn't this be equivalent to a finance charge? And a steep on at that?
